Nicholas Nkolou is a professional footballer from Cameroon who currently plays as a center-back for the Turkish club Beşiktaş and the Cameroon national team. He was born on February 4, 1990, in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Nkolou began his professional career with the French club Monaco in 2008 and quickly established himself as a key player in their defense. He later played for the Italian club Napoli before joining Beşiktaş in 2016.
Known for his physicality, aerial prowess, and strong tackling ability, Nkolou is regarded as one of the best defenders in African football. He has represented Cameroon at multiple Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and the FIFA World Cup.
